Phoenix Coyotes rookie forward Matias Maccelli will miss six weeks with a lower-body injury, Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports reports.
Maccelli exited Friday's game against the Los Angeles Kings in the first period.
Maccelli is second among NHL rookies with 22 points (three goals, 19 assists) in 30 games this season.
The native of Finland played 23 games for the Coyotes last season, registering one goal and five assists.
The Coyotes picked Maccelli in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft.
