The Philadelphia Flyers will look to tie their second-round series without one of their most impactful scorers.
Owen Tippett will remain out of the lineup for Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night, coach Rick Tocchet told reporters.
Tippett also missed Game 1 with an undisclosed injury.
Tocchet said Tippett is a "possibility" for Game 3, per Charlie O'Connor of PHLY_Sports
Tippett led the Flyers with 28 goals this season and had 51 points in 81 games. He had one goal and one assist in the six-game opening round series with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Kurz reports that Carl Grundstrom will enter the lineup for Game 1 for his first appearance in the playoffs.
Game 2 between the Flyers and Hurricanes begins at 7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
