Brad Lambert may be out of Winnipeg soon.
The Winnipeg Jets have given Lambert's representation permission to seek a trade partner, per NHL insider Frank Seravalli.
Lambert, 21, has scored one goal in four appearances with the Jets this season. He was Winnipeg's first-round pick in 2022, drafted 30th overall.
The Finnish-Canadian forward has spent most of his professional career with the Jets' AHL affiliate Manitoba Moose. He has suited up in only 10 NHL games over three seasons.
He last played for the Jets on Nov. 4 against the Los Angeles Kings, where he saw just 6:58 of ice time.
In 127 career AHL games, Lambert has 28 goals and 90 points. He was named an AHL all star in 2024.
