Los Angeles is hanging onto their young forward.
The Kings have reached a three-year, $12.3-million agreement to hang on to their 83rd overall pick from 2020, the team announced Saturday.
The deal is worth $4.1 million in average annual value.
Laferriere, a restricted free agent heading into the off-season, is coming off a three-year, entry-level deal worth $2.625 million signed in April of 2023.
The 23-year-old scored 42 points in 77 games during his second season with the Kings after putting up just 23 points in 81 games in 2023-24.
Laferriere averaged 16:32 time on ice for the Kings last year, spending most of his time on the wing alongside young centre Quinton Byfield.
