The Toronto Maple Leafs have added some depth up front.
Forward Ryan Tverberg has reportedly agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Maple Leafs, according to PuckPedia on Saturday.
The deal is worth $850,000 at the NHL level, $250,000 in the minors, with $350,000 guaranteed.
Tverberg, 24, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Maple Leafs in 2020 and eventually made his NHL debut with the franchise last season. The Richmond Hill, Ont. native made two appearances, finishing plus-one with 9:52 average time on ice.
He spent most of the 2025-26 season with the Calder Cup-winning Toronto Marlies, racking up 36 points (15 goals, 21 assists) through 63 games. In the playoffs, Tverberg chipped in six goals and eight assists.
In 162 games with the Marlies over the last four years, Tverberg has racked up 79 points.
