The Toronto Maple Leafs are keeping busy as they give their bottom six a major facelift.
Forward Zack MacEwen is on his way to Toronto on a two-year deal, the Maple Leafs announced on Wednesday.
According to PuckPedia, the deal is worth $1.75 million with an average annual value of $875,000.
MacEwen, 29, missed the majority of the 2025-26 season with the New Jersey Devils after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in November against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He played in only three games and was held without a point.
A native of Charlottetown, P.E.I., MacEwen has 17 goals and 17 assists in 240 career NHL games, split between the Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Philadelphia Flyers, Ottawa Senators and Los Angeles Kings.
