The New York Rangers are adding another scorer to the mix.
The Rangers and veteran winger Eeli Tolvanen have agreed to a one-year, $1.5-million contract, according to PuckPedia and Mollie Walker of The New York Post.
The Finnish winger has spent most of the last four seasons with the Seattle Kraken. In 2025-26, Tolvanen had 12 goals and 24 assists in 78 games.
The Kraken claimed Tolvanen off waivers from the Nashville Predators during the 2022-23 season. Since then, he’s totalled 139 points (67 goals, 72 assists) in 288 games.
The 27-year-old also represented Finland at the 2026 Winter Olympics. He had one goal and two assists as his nation won the bronze medal.
