Zac Jones is headed to Buffalo.
The 24-year-old blue-liner agreed to a one-year, two-way deal, the team confirmed Wednesday. The contract has an AAV of $775,000
Jones, a third-round pick of the Rangers in 2019, played in 46 games for New York in 2024-25, averaging 17:15 of ice time per night and recording 11 points.
He also played in two games with the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, scoring one goal in his short time with the team.
The left-shot defenceman has appeared in parts of the past five seasons with the Rangers, but he has never been able to consistently crack the team's lineup.
Jones has played in 115 career games and collected four goals and 28 points.
