After a career-year with the Sabres, Ryan McLeod is locking in with Buffalo.
The team announced Tuesday that the 25-year-old centre has signed a four-year, $20-million extension.
McLeod was a restricted free agent this summer after his two-year, $4.2-million deal came to its expiry.
From Mississauga, Ont., McLeod recorded career highs in goals (20), assists (33) and points (53) in 79 games this season.
Drafted by the Edmonton Oilers as the 40th overall pick in 2018, McLeod was traded to the Sabres in July 2024.
Across 298 career games with the Oilers and Sabres, McLeod has 128 points (52 goals and 76 assists).
