A key piece will rejoin the Buffalo Sabres' lineup on Saturday.
Forward Alex Tuch will return to the lineup after a one-game absence for Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Tuch missed the Sabres' 2-1 loss to the Capitals on Thursday with a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old participated in Friday's practice, after which Ruff called him a possibility for Saturday.
The winger has 28 goals and 29 assists over 64 games this season, and boasts a plus-18 rating.
The Maple Leafs are in Buffalo for Hockey Night in Canada. Follow the action on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ starting at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT.
