Sabres’ Comrie exits game vs. Devils with lower-body injury

Buffalo Sabres goaltender Eric Comrie exited and will not return to Friday’s game against the New Jersey Devils due to a lower-body injury, the team announced.

Comrie sustained the injury near the mid-way point of the second period after making a save on a shot by Devils forward Tyler Toffoli.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen would take over in net.

Sabres goaltender Devon Levi is currently dealing with a lower-body injury and has been out of the lineup since Oct. 21.

Comrie is in his second season with the Sabres. Heading into Friday’s action, he had appeared in two games and registered a .923 save percentage and a 2.05 goals-against average.
