Tyson Kozak is sticking around in Buffalo after making his debut this past season.
The Sabres inked the forward to a three-year, $2.325-million deal worth $775,000 in average annual value, the team announced Tuesday.
Kozak, 22, made his NHL debut on Dec. 5 last season and wound up playing in 21 games and logging three goals and two assists. He played an average of 10:29 in his appearances.
He also made 31 regular-season appearances with the Rochester Americans, the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate, notching eight goals and six assists.
Kozak was drafted by the Sabres 193rd overall in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Draft.
