Second round of Stanley Cup Playoffs to begin this weekend

The NHL has announced that the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs will begin on Saturday, May 29 with Game 1 of the East Division series between the Boston Bruins and the New York Islanders at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at TD Garden in Boston.

The West Division's second round will start on Sunday, May 30, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at Ball Arena in Denver between the Colorado Avalanche and the winner of the Minnesota Wild-Vegas Golden Knights series. The Wild and Golden Knights will play in Game 7 on Friday night.

Additional information for ongoing first-round series will be announced at a later time, if necessary.
