The Ottawa Senators and Washington Capitals have swapped forward depth.
Ottawa traded Wyatt Bongiovanni to Washington on Friday in exchange for Graeme Clarke, the teams announced.
Clarke, 24, will return to the Ottawa area after playing his junior hockey with the OHL's 67's.
He has spent all of 2025-26 in the AHL, recording 15 goals and nine assists in 50 games with Hershey.
Clarke made his NHL debut with the New Jersey Devils in 2023-24, skating in three games.
The Senators announced that Clarke has been assigned to AHL Belleville.
Bongiovanni, 26, had 25 points in 54 games in the AHL this season.
The left-shot centre has spent the last six seasons in the AHL, spending time with the Senators and the Manitoba Moose.
