The Ottawa Senators have bolstered their blue-line depth in an AHL trade with the Los Angeles Kings.
Ottawa acquired defenceman Samuel Bolduc from Los Angeles on Thursday in exchange for forward Jan Jenik.
Bolduc, 25, has spent all of 2025-26 with the AHL's Ontario Reign, scoring five goals and 21 points in 56 games.
A second-round pick of the Islanders in 2019, the left-shot D-man skated in parts of three NHL seasons with New York from 2022 to 2025. In 52 career games with the Isles, Bolduc had four goals, four assists and an even rating.
Jenik, meanwhile, heads to the Kings after potting nine goals in 41 games for the Belleville Senators.
The 25-year-old skated in two games with Ottawa in 2024-25 and played in 22 games with the Arizona Coyotes between 2020 and 2024. In those NHL appearances, he had four goals and two assists.
