The Ottawa Senators have placed goaltender Anton Forsberg on the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list.

Forsberg did not practice with the team as he was a close contact with a positive COVID-19 case. Before the holiday break, Ottawa placed head coach D.J. Smith, goaltender Filip Gustavsson, assistant coach Davis Payne and video coach Mike King in the league's COVID-19 protocol.

The NHL postponed the Senators' game on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins because of COVID-19 concerns.
