After sitting out the Ottawa Senators' 5-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday due to an inconclusive COVID-19 test, Artem Zub received a subsequent negative result and will be able to return to the team Friday, coach D.J. Smith said after the game.

The defenceman was replaced in the lineup by fellow D-man Josh Brown.

The 25-year-old rookie has played six games with Ottawa, recording two assists.
