The Ottawa Senators are just days away from getting their captain back.
Brady Tkachuk announced on his podcast, "Wingmen" with his brother Matthew Tkachuk, that he is targeting Friday's game against his hometown St. Louis Blues for his return.
"We have to check some boxes but everything looks good for Friday," Tkachuk said.
Tkachuk has been out since the first week of the season and had surgery on his right hand on Oct. 16. He had previously said the week of U.S. Thanksgiving was his target for a return.
The Senators enter play Wednesday third in the Atlantic Division with an 11-7-4 record.
