Linus Ullmark was back on the ice with the Ottawa Senators, but it doesn't appear he will be ready for game action in the near future.
After Ullmark skated with the team at practice on Friday morning, Senators head coach Travis Green told reporters that there is no timetable for the goaltender's return.
"We're taking it day-by-day," Green said.
Ullmark has been on personal leave since Dec. 29.
The 32-year-old Swede has a 14-8-5 record this season with an .881 save percentage and 2.95 goals-against average.
Meanwhile, amid increased struggles in net, the Senators signed goalie James Reimer to a one-year contract on Monday.
As far as when Reimer will make his debut with Ottawa, Green said Friday that it will happen "soon."
The Senators play a back-to-back this weekend, as they host the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday before heading to Detroit to take on the Red Wings on Sunday.
Ottawa sits last in the Atlantic Division with a 22-19-5 record.
