The Ottawa Senators have loaned goaltending prospect Filip Gustavsson to Sodertalje SK. He will return ahead of Ottawa's 2020-21 NHL training camp.

Gustavsson played the 2019-20 season with the Belleville Senators in the AHL, compiling a 15-6-3 record, a 3.23 GAA and .889 save percentage in 24 games and was recalled on two occasions but did not play a game at the NHL level.

The 23-year-old netminder was selected in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins before he was traded to the Senators in 2018.

Sodertalje SK plays un HockeyAllsvenskan which is Sweden's second highest profesional hockey league.
