The Ottawa Senators placed defenceman Christian Wolanin on waivers Thursday, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Wolanin, 26, had 8:03 of ice time in Wednesday’s win over the Calgary Flames and played one shift in the third period, per Sportsnet’s Kyle Bukauskas.
The Quebec City native has three assists and a minus-7 rating in 15 games this season while averaging 13:00 of ice time.
