The Ottawa Senators have traded forward Michael Carcone to the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Zachary Magwood, the teams announced Monday.

Magwood, 22, spent the majority of the 2019-20 season with the ECHL's Florida Everblades, where he had 19 goals and 47 points in 51 games. Never drafted, the former Barrie Colts forward originally signed with the Predators in 2018.

Carcone, 24, was originally acquired by the Senators from the Toronto Maple Leafs in July of 2019 as part of the Cody Ceci-Nikita Zaitsev trade. Last season with the AHL's Belleville Senators, Carcone had 27 points in 59 games.
