Lassi Thomson is returning to the Ottawa Senators.
The Senators claimed the defence prospect off waivers from the Anaheim Ducks, days after the Ducks claimed Thomson from the Senators.
Thomson, 23, was the 19th overall selection by the Senators in the 2019 NHL Draft. He has appeared in 18 NHL games over the past two seasons and last season had 33 points in 57 games with Belleville.
In other waivers news, Senators forward Boko Imama cleared waivers on Monday and can now be assigned to the AHL.
