Jorian Donovan is back in the NHL.
The Ottawa Senators recalled the left-shooting defenceman from the AHL for the second time this season, the team announced on Sunday.
Meanwhile, fellow blue liner Cam Crotty was placed on injured reserve after missing two game due to illness.
Donovan, 22, did not play for the Senators during his previous call-up this season. He got his first taste of the NHL last season, playing two games without recording a point.
He had four goals and 17 assists in 61 AHL games last season but has yet to hit the scoresheet in three appearances this season.
The 2022 fifth-round pick could draw into the lineup when the Senators return to action Monday against the New Jersey Devils (Sportsnet+, 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT).
