The Ottawa Senators have recalled forwards Roby Jarventie and Zack MacEwen from the AHL’s Belleville Senators.

The move comes with the Senators losing forwards forward Ridly Greig and Mark Kastelic to injuries. Head coach D.J. Smith said both were doubtful to play the next few games with lower-body injuries.

MacEwen has two goals in four games with Belleville and has an assist in two games with Ottawa while Jarventie has one goal and three points in six games in the AHL.

Greig has two goals and seven points in nine games this season and saw an increased role with Shane Pinto’s absence from the lineup. Kastelic doesn’t have a point in nine games this season.

It has been a tough season for Ottawa, who already had defencemen Thomas Chabot, Erik Brannstrom and Artem Zub sidelined.
