The Ottawa Senators likely will have a new goalie in uniform on Tuesday.
Jonas Johansson has been recalled from AHL Belleville, the team announced hours before a road game against the Detroit Red Wings.
The move comes after Linus Ullmark "tweaked something a little bit" in a win over the Boston Bruins, coach Travis Green said Monday.
Samuel Ersson played the third period in the victory.
Johansson was acquired in a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning late last month after the Senators lost Leevi Meriläinen on waivers to the Vancouver Canucks.
He allowed six goals in two AHL games last weekend.
The Swedish goalie had a 3.29 goals-against average and .884 save percentage in 25 games last season with the Lightning.
In a corresponding move Tuesday, the Senators loaned defenceman Jorian Donovan to Belleville.
