Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig was a bit banged up on Tuesday night.
Greig left a 7-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues early with what head coach Travis Green called "a strain." No other details about the injury were provided.
Greig's final shift came with 10 minutes to play in the third period and lasted 46 seconds.
The 24-year-old checker has skated in five games this season, recording one assist, after missing two games due to a suspension.
The Senators return to the ice Thursday against the New York Islanders.
