A first-round pick is sticking around Ottawa.
The Senators signed Tyler Boucher, the 10th overall choice in 2021, to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Friday.
Boucher, 23, has spent the past three seasons in the AHL, playing 115 games.
In 47 contests last season, he had a career-high 12 goals and 14 assists to go with 68 penalty minutes.
The Scottsdale, Ariz., native has yet to appear in the NHL.
