An Ottawa native is staying home.
The Senators brought back defenceman Donovan Sebrango on a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced on Thursday.
Sebrango, 23, made his NHL debut last season, appearing in two games with the Senators.
He also skated in 50 games for the AHL's Belleville Senators last season, recording eight goals and 12 assists from the blue line.
Sebrango was originally selected in the third round (63rd overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. He was traded to the Senators in July 2023 as part of the deal that sent Alex DeBrincat the other way.
