Lucas Ellinas has been rewarded for a successful season in the OHL.
The Ottawa Senators signed the 19-year-old forward to a three-year, entry-level contract on Tuesday.
“He has shown continued growth in his game. He is a high character, competitive player that we are excited to have with our Senators organization,” Senators GM Steve Staios said in a team-released statement.
The Etobicoke, Ont., native had 20 goals and 37 points in 50 games for the OHL's Kitchener Rangers this season.
Ellinas was selected by the Senators 104th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
