The Ottawa Senators have secured some depth for the blue line.
The Senators signed defenceman Samuel Bolduc to a two-way contract ahead of the 2026-27 season, the team announced on Friday.
Bolduc, 25, joined the organization by way of trade from the Los Angeles Kings in March and then spent the rest of the season with the AHL's Belleville Senators. He posted 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in 12 games.
The Laval, Que., native was initially a member of the New York Islanders, who drafted Bolduc with the 57th-overall pick in 2019. In 52 games in the NHL, he totalled four goals and four assists.
Ottawa wasn't done there, as general manager Steve Staios also inked defenceman Djibril Toure to a two-way contract.
