Senators' Stutzle a game-time decision against Capitals; Brannstrom is out

Ottawa Senators head coach DJ Smith spoke to the media about Artem Zub's status, and how happy they are to have his contract extended for the next four years.

Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stützle is a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Washington Capitals.

Stützle, who injured his shoulder last week, will take the pre-game skate and then his participation will be evaluated for the contest in Ottawa.

Defenceman Erik Brännström, who has a suspected lower-body injury, will not play and will be replaced by Dylan Heatherington. Brännström was hurt in Ottawa's 5-1 loss to the Jets on Tuesday.
