The Ottawa Senators will be without one of their key defencemen for their upcoming three-game road trip.
Thomas Chabot will not travel with the team as he continues to recover from an upper-body injury, per Sportsnet's Alex Adams.
The 28-year-old has not played since Nov. 22 against the San Jose Sharks, which was his first game back after missing the previous three games with an injury.
In 18 games this season, the Sainte-Marie, Que., native has two goals and 10 points and is plus-10.
The Senators have lost six of their eight games without Chabot and have slipped to five points out of a playoff spot and second-last in the Eastern Conference.
