The Ottawa Senators will be without defenceman Tyler Kleven when they take to the ice on Sunday.
Kleven left Saturday's win over the Chicago Blackhawks after falling awkwardly along the boards and was eventually ruled out with a lower-body injury.
After the game, head coach Travis Green told reporters that the 23-year-old won't play as the team returns to action against the Boston Bruins.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on the Saturday Headlines segment of Hockey Night in Canada that Kleven went down with an ankle injury.
"That would be a big loss," Friedman said. "He's a heck of a player, but still no determination at this time as to what this is going to be."
Kleven played 6:47 against Chicago, picking up an assist and having his first goal of the year called back due to goalie interference.
For the season, the left-shot D-man has five assists in 32 games.
