Ottawa Senators defenceman Artem Zub sustained a lower-body injury Saturday night vs. the Colorado Avalanche and will not return according to the team.
Zub played 13:30 against Colorado before being forced to leave the contest.
Playing in his third NHL season, the 27-year-old Russian has played in 20 games for Ottawa this season, picking up three goals and three assists.
The Senators sit near the bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 19-19-3 record.
