Restricted free agent Shakir Mukhamadullin will be staying with his new team.
The 24-year-old defenceman has signed a two-year extension with the Oilers worth $1.75 million per season, his agent Dan Milstein announced on Saturday.
Mukhamadullin was acquired by the Oilers from the San Jose Sharks in the Darnell Nurse trade alongside prospect Zack Sharp.
Mukhamadullin appeared in 83 games with the Sharks between 2023 and 2026, posting 12 points (five goals, seven assists). He was selected in the first round of the 2020 draft by the New Jersey Devils before being shipped to San Jose in the Timo Meier trade.
