The San Jose Sharks have claimed 2017 second-round pick Jonah Gadjovich off waivers from the Vancouver Canucks.

Gadjovich, 22, has played in one regular-season NHL game in his career so far. The six-foot-two forward produced 15 goals and 18 points in 19 AHL games with the Utica Comets last season.

The Whitby, Ont., native had a decorated junior career with the OHL's Owen Sound Attack and earned a gold medal as a member of Canada's World Junior team in 2018.

No other players were claimed off waivers Thursday.
