The San Jose Sharks are setting their second-overall pick loose for the first time outside of the pre-season.
Forward Michael Misa will make his regular-season debut as the Sharks take on the Carolina Hurricanes at SAP Center.
Misa, 18, had been a healthy scratch for the first two games of the season.
The Oakville, Ont., native led the Ontario Hockey League last season with 134 points (62 goals and 72 assists) in 65 games for the Saginaw Spirit.
He appears set to play between wingers Philipp Kurashev and Ty Dellandrea, based on Monday's practice lines.
