The San Jose Sharks re-signed forward Noah Gregor to a one-year contract on Monday.
Gregor, who was a restricted free agent, will earn $950,000 according to CapFriendly.com.
Gregor set career highs across the board last season recording eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 63 games.
“Noah elevated his play last season and set career highs in several offensive categories,” Sharks general manager Mike Grier said in a statement. “He can utilize his speed to create space in the offensive zone and we look forward to watching him take another step this year.”
The 24-year-old from Beaumont, Alta., also had 12 points (four goals and eight assists) in eight games with the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League this past season and earned a silver medal with Team Canada at the world hockey championship.
Drafted in the fourth round, 111th overall, by San Jose in 2016, Gregor has 34 points (16 goals and 18 assists) in 121 games with the Sharks over three seasons.
