The San Jose Sharks have re-signed goaltender Gabriel Carriere to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Mike Grier announced Sunday.
Carriere, who was set to become a restricted free agent, spent last season with the AHL's San Jose Barracuda and ECHL's Wichita Thunder.
The 24-year-old from Ottawa posted a 10-9-3 record, 3.06 goals-against average and .894 save percentage with two shutouts in 22 games with the Barracuda.
He also had a 14-9-2 record, 2.60 GAA and .922 save percentage with three shutouts in 25 games with the Thunder.
Carriere signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Sharks as an undrafted free agent in March 2025.
