Centre Michael Misa was selected second overall Friday in the 2025 NHL Draft by the San Jose Sharks.
Misa dominated the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit, registering 62 goals and 134 points in 65 games. His efforts earned him the league scoring title and MVP honours.
Misa's 62 goals are tied for the third-most by a draft-eligible skater in OHL history.
Granted entry into the OHL a year early as an exceptional player, Misa was picked first overall by the Spirit in the 2022 draft and helped Saginaw win the Memorial Cup last season.
