Shakir Mukhamadullin is sticking in San Jose for another season.
The San Jose Sharks signed the defenceman to a one-year, $1 million contract extension on Thursday, the team announced.
Mukhamadullin, 23, had two goals and seven assists in 30 games for the Sharks last season.
The Russian blue liner was selected 20th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2020 NHL Draft.
He was acquired by the Sharks in the trade that sent Timo Meier to the Devils in February 2023.
