Sharks sign forward CJ Suess to one-year contract

The San Jose Sharks signed forward C.J. Suess to a one-year contract on Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Suess appeared in three games with the Winnipeg Jets last season and recorded zero points. He also played in 46 games with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League and registered 14 goals and 14 assists.

The 28-year-old from St. Paul, Minn., was drafted in the fifth round, 129th overall, by the Jets in 2014.
