The San Jose Sharks have signed former Vancouver Canucks defenceman Kyle Burroughs to a three-year, $3.3-million contract, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports.
The Vancouver native cemented his place as an NHL depth defenceman with the Canucks over the previous two seasons. Over 48 games with the Canucks last season, he scored two goals and notched five points.
