Stanley Cup Playoffs to begin Saturday on Sportsnet as Capitals host Bruins

Taylor Hall scored twice, including the overtime winner, as the Boston Bruins beat the New York Islanders 3-2.

The 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs will officially get underway on May 15 with the Washington Capitals hosting the Boston Bruins in an East Division showdown.

Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet with puck drop scheduled for 7:15.

Boston clinched the third seed in the East with Monday's overtime victory over the New York Islanders.

The Bruins and Capitals will provide a playoff preview on Tuesday with a regular-season matchup as both teams play their 56th and final game of the campaign.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will square off with the Islanders in the East's other matchup.
