Dallas Stars forward Max Domi has been fined $5K by the NHL Department of Player Safety for his slash on Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final.
Domi did not receive a penalty on the play.
Later in the game, the 28-year-old received two, two-minute penalties for cross-checking and roughing as well as game misconduct for a battle with Nicholas Hague. Stars fans littered the ice following the assessment of Domi's match penalty.
The Stars will face elimination in Game 4, scheduled for Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and SN NOW.
