Roope Hintz's return may have been pushed back yet again.
The Dallas Stars forward is doubtful to play in Game 4 against the Minnesota Wild, head coach Glen Gulutzan told reporters on Tuesday.
He is not travelling as the 1-1 series heads to Minnesota for Games 3 and 4. Gulutzan said Monday that Hintz, who did not play in the first two games, was "highly unlikely" for Game 3.
However, fellow forward Nathan Bastian is travelling with the team as he returns to skating, though his return may not come until late in Round 2, per Gulutzan.
Hintz suffered a lower-body injury on March 6 against the Colorado Avalanche, when he had to be helped off the ice following a collision with Nathan MacKinnon.
The Finnish forward had 15 goals and 29 assists in 53 games for Dallas this season. He also had a goal and four points in a bronze-medal-winning effort for Finland at the Winter Olympics.
Game 3 is set for Wednesday, with an additional two days off before Saturday's Game 4.
