The Dallas Stars have granted forward Denis Gurianov an indefinite leave of absence from the team for family reasons, general manager Jim Nill announced Wednesday.
Gurianov last played on Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The 25-year-old has two goals and three assists in 25 games this season, his sixth with the Stars.
The team said it would not comment further on the matter at this time.
