The Dallas Stars will be getting a boost to their blue line for Game 1 of the playoffs.
Miro Heiskanen will play against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, per Stars head coach Glen Gulutzan.
The 26-year-old was injured in a regular-season game against the Wild on April 9 due to a check from Ryan Hartman.
He was forced to miss the Stars' final three games of the regular season with a lower-body ailment.
Heiskanen had nine goals and 54 assists through 77 games this season.
On the Minnesota side, star defenceman Quinn Hughes is set to suit up after missing some time with an illness.
Since he was acquired from the Vancouver Canucks in December, Hughes has five goals and 53 points in 48 regular-season games. This will be his first playoff appearance since the 2024.
