The Dallas Stars have inked centreman Radek Faksa to a five-year deal, the club announced Sunday.

The 26-year-old’s new deal is worth $16.25 million in total, carrying a cap hit of $3.25 million.
Faksa posted 11 goals and 20 points through 66 games for Dallas in 2019-20, adding eight points in 19 playoff games during the Stars’ Stanley Cup Final run.
A 13th-overall pick back in 2012, Faksa has played parts of five seasons in Dallas, his best campaign coming in 2017-18 when he put up 18 goals and 33 points for the club.
